Easter Sunday
We had a great Easter Sunday and finished off the weekend dying our Easter Eggs, and seeing what the Easter Bunny had left us. I love the whole Easter Experience. Grandma the kids and I watched the 10 commandments. I felt like Grandma and I were talking to explain the whole time, but it was fun to watch this with the kids. I used to watch this movie around Easter as well. I love my Savior and this Gospel. I am so grateful for the sacrifice he made, and for the resurrection. I am grateful I get to be with my loved ones FOREVER.

So Preston Says….
Preston sure has made me laugh a lot lately. We moved a couple weeks ago. In the mist of moving. We had boxes, and stuff all over the ground. It didn't change the fact that Brecken still crawled over to my legs, while I'm packing, making dinner, putting on makeup, going pee…you name it that kid is at my feet whining and crying. Well, on this particular night…we had all worked hard, and were all taking turns with Brecken so not one person would get burned out with him. I could tell Preston had meet his time limit, He was growling at Brecken. As I go to relieve him he looks up at me and so matter of fact says. "What is wrong with him? When I was a baby I loved this. I loved playing in boxes, and just rolling around on the floor with all this mess." When I was a baby this was heaven to me." What made me smile inside was the way he said it like, I remember exactly how I was as a baby, and I would have loved this. The thing is he would have. I told him that. Breck on the other hand did not find any fun with being ignored while everyone around him was busy. It made me laugh.
Also, the other day I was trying on a swimsuit…scary I know, but I haven't bought a new one since Quin and Dani got married…so I really needed one. I had two I couldn't decided on and dean was at work, so I have Preston hand me my phone in the dressing room, and take a picture of me in each swimsuit and text it to him to see if he could help me decided. Well I hand the phone back to Preston and I hear it beep a few minutes later, then I hear Preston yell through the dressing room door. (Which by the way it was Easter weekend so the store was packed) Mom dad says "Habba Habba I'll be right there don't change." Mom what does Habba Habba mean??? I could hear many people laughing in stalls next to me and in the store…I know my face was as red as the swimming suit I was wearing when I opened the door to grab the phone, and pull Preston in. Needless to say, I laughed and still laugh about that one. Sure do love all my kids, and hope I can remember to take time to write down some of the cute stuff they do and say.

Easter Weekend
We had such a fun Easter Break. We couldn't have asked for better weather. We missed some of the family, but enjoyed our time together with the ones that were here. On Thursday we had a surprise visit from my cousin Lea and her family. Our kids are pretty much the same age, and get along so well together. I surprised the kids by getting them out of school early to come home and swim with the friends. They were all so excited, and had a great time swimming, golfing, and playing together. We ended the night with dinner, and sending them off on there way to Vegas. We woke up early Saturday to get ready for the Easter Egg hunt.
It was a beautiful spring morning. No jackets needed. Preston of course was to big for the hunt, so he helped get Brecken a few eggs. The girls were done in less then 2 minutes. Ha Ha. We then had to go to our neighbors house and get our annual picture taken by there Easter bunny. We then changed clothes and headed up to Zion's. It was free National Parks day so we took advantage. We hiked up to the Emerald pools. Can anyone spot Brecken in the family pictures?? He feel asleep in his new hiking backpack and we didn't have anything to shade his head…so Dean's black hat is poking up in the back. Then had our regular sandwich, and ice-cream, at our favorite place. We made it home in time to swim the afternoon away, and then have our family Easter egg hunt. No cousins this year, just us. So it was a little lonely being the only ones.
These pictures show how Breck found the candy, held it, and then tried to attack it. I think Grandpa finally opened it for him, and gave him a bite…definitely not me.
and of course I had to get a picture of my man. OH, how I just love him…enough said.
