Shaylee and I had the opportunity to go to the first ever women's conference for ages 8 and up. I think she was excited to go. They had been talking a lot about it in Primary, and really getting the girls excited. She reminded me quiet a bit, and when the big day came she was ready. I loved all the talks given that night. Probably one of my favorite conferences ever. Shaylee on the other hand wasn't as impressed. She was really good and did really well for the 1 1/2 hour conference, but she was glad when it was over. I told her we could go get ice-cream after, so we headed over to DQ for a blizzard. We ate it outside tell we decided it was to cold and took it home to eat. There it got finished off by hungry bothers, and sister. I loved sharing this experience with my little girl, and can't wait for the next one.
