So Preston Says….

Preston sure has made me laugh a lot lately.  We moved a couple weeks ago.  In the mist of moving.  We had boxes, and stuff all over the ground.  It didn't change the fact that Brecken still crawled over to my legs, while I'm packing, making dinner, putting on makeup, going pee…you name it that kid is at my feet whining and crying.  Well, on this particular night…we had all worked hard, and were all taking turns with Brecken so not one person would get burned out with him.  I could tell Preston had meet his time limit,  He was growling at Brecken.  As I go to relieve him he looks up at me and so matter of fact says.  "What is wrong with him?  When I was a baby I loved this.  I loved playing in boxes, and just rolling around on the floor with all this mess."  When I was a baby this was heaven to me."  What made me smile inside was the way he said it like, I remember exactly how I was as a baby, and I would have loved this.  The thing is he would have.  I told him that.  Breck on the other hand did not find any fun with being ignored while everyone around him was busy.  It made me laugh.
Also, the other day I was trying on a swimsuit…scary I know, but I haven't bought a new one since Quin and Dani got married…so I really needed one.  I had two I couldn't decided on and dean was at work, so I have Preston hand me my phone in the dressing room, and take a picture of me in each swimsuit and text it to him to see if he could help me decided.  Well I hand the phone back to Preston and I hear it beep a few minutes later, then I hear Preston yell through the dressing room door.  (Which by the way it was Easter weekend so the store was packed)  Mom dad says "Habba Habba  I'll be right there don't change."  Mom what does Habba Habba mean???  I could hear many people laughing in stalls next to me and in the store…I know my face was as red as the swimming suit I was wearing when I opened the door to grab the phone, and pull Preston in.  Needless to say, I laughed and still laugh about that one.  Sure do love all my kids, and hope I can remember to take time to write down some of the cute stuff they do and say.
