Golf Tournament/Lake Day
We got back from Jackson Tuesday late afternoon, and went straight to the course. I think the kids were besides themselves because they would be playing with the adults. We did a scramble, or best ball i don't remember. We all hit and we would play our shot by whoever hit the best shot. We all had fun, and I can say that was my first time playing a round of golf. Well. give or take a shot or two. Poor Dean pretty much had to carry out team through. We had such a good time though, and the kids played so well. Breck loved hitting, riding in the cart, running on the grass, you name it he loved it. We had a few holes that were prize holes, a closest to the pin, or longest drive. Jaden, Preston, and Stephanie won the prizes, and Grandpa, Stephanie, and Addison were the winning team. After golf we tried to get a few pictures, then we went and got dinner, and ate at the course. It was such a fun and beautiful day.
The next morning was Wednesday. The adults and a couple kids went golfing early that morning, we the girls, Breck, and I slept in a tell 7:30 then we ate got ready and met them at the golf course for a little bit, then it was off to the lake. We rented a boat, and a paddle board, and had a great time on both. The kids loved the tube and road for hours. Shaylee wouldn't get off. I think she finally feel off her last ride, because Devin made her. The lake actually didn't feel to bad this year, and I think the kids were in the water for most of the 6 hours we were there. I loved the paddle board, and I think my mom and Dean did as well. It was pretty easy maybe because it was extra wide…or something I don't know, but Breck rode around on it with Dean for awhile. We headed back to eat at the cabin around 5:30 ate a yummy dinner. Then the kids did a treasure hunt that grandma tries to do with them. It was fun because I think even the little kids found a clue. after the treasure hunt we headed down to Garden city to get our famous shakes at La beau's. They were so good, and so huge, next time we share. We had such a fun trip, and were so sad to see it coming to an end, but we knew we had to get down off the mountain to spend time with the Monson Crew.
