Backyard Project...AKA...Basketball court

We took our tax return and decided to use it toward a big slab of cement in our yard, as well as a expensive hoop you throw a ball into.  It took a lot of work, and sweat, but we finished it before Christmas.  Putting the hoop together was a beast, Dean and Preston and I spent a lot of time out there.  We were lucky enough to get aunt Steph to help us for a few hours or 5 on Saturday . ha ha.  Sure glad we had all the help.  When we lifted the hoop up it was pretty hard.  It said 6 adults.  We had Dean, Steph, Preston and Me...who put together we might make up one adult, and a couple of Preston's friends who weigh less then him.  ha ha.  We were all pushing and working, and yelling..we get it up and in the bolts, and we are all slipping, then our new neighbor who happens to be a very big Samoan guy comes over and asks if he can help.  He pretty much holds it up with one hand while Dean hurries and bolts it.  Anyway, it was an adventure and the kids have already made it worth it.  They spend hours out there.  Even Landon and Breck.
