Thanksgiving Week with the Monsons

Thanksgiving this year was with the Monson's.  We left early Wednesday morning to head out.  He reached their place about 1:30.  We did some shopping and then headed out to dinner with the family to El Matador.  The next morning we did our annual turkey trot.  The weather was amazing this year, and we enjoyed running in it.  We made it home in time to have Grandma's Turkey pancakes.  Around 2 we had dinner all together, then went and got our picture taken, and played outside the rest of the day.  The next day Landon woke up early so Dean and I headed out and did some black Friday shopping.  We then came back and headed out with the family to the mall to see Santa, and shop some more.  We made it home to go Ice Skating.  It was Brecken's first time and he did so good.  Landon and I cheered everyone on and loved watching all the cousins, and aunts and uncles.  Saturday we woke up and headed to the movie Wonder.  It was so good, and we loved watching the movie to see if it was a lot like the book, or which one we liked better.  I thought the book was great, but they did so good casting the characters in the movie, So we loved both.  We then went shopping and headed down to SLC to see the lights at temple square.  The weather again was so mild this time of year, and we loved going.  The lights are always amazing.  Landon just kept saying wow!! With his mouth hanging open.  So cute.  We then returned home to have a Jazz party and watch the game with family.  It was a fun game and we came out with the win.  Sunday we woke up and headed out to return home.  It was such a fun trip, and over all we had a great time.
