Mom and Kid Dates!
We started our back to school kids dates with mom early, because I knew the rest of our summer would be busy. Preston went first...poor boy didn't get a lot done, because we had to fit in a EKG and that took forever. We did eat at Freddies, and found some clothes. He sure is growing like a weed. Such a long torso, and tall body with skinny waist and legs. So finding long enough short that fit around his waist sure has been fun. I cant believe my first baby is going to be a freshman. Shaylee was next and we went shopping, shopping, and more shopping. She is in between little girl sizes and women/ teen sizes, but we still ended up finding so good deals for her. She has such a fun personality and is the life of the party. She talks....a lot. Which I don't mind listening. She reminds me of me when I was her age. We ended up eating lunch at EL-coyote, and saw Aunt Lisa and Uncle Devin there. We love us some Tacos. Next up was Addison she got her ears pierced when she was 8, but always had issues with one ear, and we ended up with it closed to let it heal. We decided to try and re pierce it for 6th grade and she was pretty excited to have 2 earring now. She shopped and found some cute clothes, and we went to eat at her favorite place, my least favorite....Golden Coral. She loves her some dessert bar. She is very kind, and wanting to help out as much as she can. She moved out of elementary this year and is in the same school as Shaylee this year. She is pretty excited about that. Brecken went on his date with mom and dad. We had to hit up his Upstart graduation first, and then headed out for Jimmy Johns his favorite. We then went shopping for some school clothes, and a treat. I cant believe my little boy is headed off to Elementary school. He is going to LOVE kindergarten I know it. He is so smart and loves to color and be creative. He is a hugger/lover, not a fighter. We sure do love these kiddo's and cant believe how fast time is going by.
