Basketball season has begun!

 Brecken started his first year of basketball session.  He has what they called fundamentals/ training where they teach the kids the basics of basketball skills before they put them in game situations.  Its been so fun to watch him learn and grow.  Sad thing is he is the only one I got playing the game.  The girls are on two separate teams this year (Shaylee 7/8 grade, and Addison 5/6 grade), with aunt Stephanie coaching both girls, and Preston made the Hurricane High school Freshman basketball team.  We are really excited and proud of him.  It should be a fun year.  So many games to keep us busy every weekend and weekdays.  Sure do love this crew of mine.

Halloween 2018

Halloween was busy this year.  We didn't see Preston at all except to pick him up from basketball and take him to a Halloween party.  We had pumpkin carving, class parties, Halloween parades, and Eves family Halloween Chili party. Addison was a Dark Angel, Shaylee was a M&M with her friends, and Landon and Brecken were super hero's.  Captain America, and Iron Man.  It took a lot for Landon to wear his costume.  He ended up taking off his mask after a few houses, but what can you do.  Dean had to work tell 5:00, so he joined up with us around the neighborhood.  Addison went off with her friends, Shaylee went off with her friends, and the boys wandered around with us and the cousins.  We got tons of candy and enjoyed everyone company.  After we got done we watched the Jazz play and hand out Halloween candy around our neighborhood. 

Pumpkin Carving Fun!

 We had two sessions of pumpkin carving.  One with the little boys while the big kids were in school.  Then one when the girls got home.  Preston had Basketball so he missed out on all the Halloween fun.  Sad, first year I didn't get a picture of him with a pumpkin.  He's growing up to fast.  These high school sports are killing me.  Landon just liked little pumpkins which was fine by me because I don't have to clean out as much seeds and stuff.  Brecken had so many ideas in his head, but he drew this face and asked me to cut it out for him.  I think he did a great job.  Addison and Shaylee both did their own carving, and they turned out about as I would have expected.  ha ha .

Annual Eves Sleepy Hallow Halloween

We meet up at Grandma and Grandpas the Monday before Halloween, to eat dinner and head over to Sleepy Hallow.  We love going every year.  The kids love it, and have so much fun with cousins.  Landon and Brecken went with Dean and I and had a blast.  We did tractor digging, horse riding, train riding, zip lining, and so much more. Grandpa spoiled these kids rotten.  I didn't get tons of pictures of the older kids because they ran off to the corn maze and other place for the night, but everyone had a great time.  I sure do love this family of mine.
