FAll Break with the Monson Family

We decided to head up north for fall break and visit Grandma Monson and the Monson cousins.  Quin and Dani decided to come as well so it made it extra fun for our kids.  We had to wait for Dean to get off work Thursday evening to head on up.  We pulled into grandmas place around 8:30.  The next morning was Friday we went up to Heidi's to have Dean and Preston help with some yard work, and then everyone went shopping for the morning/afternoon.  Around 3:00 we left to go to a pumpkin patch.  We had Quin and Dani's family, and Heidi's family joined us as well.  We had a great time letting the kids run around and try out all the fun things they had to offer.  The older kids got involved in a game with soccer with their dad and our friend Berkley.  While I  chased the littles around on the slides, zip-lines, hay maze and more.  Before we left we made sure to get as many pictures with the pumpkins BYU football game.  Saturday morning we did some more shopping, and returning..lol. With covid no dressing rooms are open so we have to buy it, take it home and try it on, and then return it if it doesn't work.  Around 1:00 we left to join the Monson crew on a ropes course up in the mountains.  It was SO much fun and I  was excited my 16 year old down to my 3 year old could do it.  Landon loved the ropes course with and went with Dean.  He only got a little nervous once when he couldn't touch the rope.  Brecken was with me and he did awesome.  I  had to work hard to keep up with him. We then did another activity and it involved climbing up a giant pole and trying to get on this small platform what moved around a lot.  Once on top of the platform you tried to jump off and grab this trapeze thing in front of it about 7 feet or more.  Dean and Preston both did great and grabbed the trapeze bar, Shaylee was able to jump but missed the bar, and Addison decided she didn't want to jump for the bar so just fell off.  I  made quick time and got up the pole and getting up on the platform, but couldn't jump that far to catch the trapeze.  Over all we had an amazing time with family.  We all got dinner and headed back to Grandmas to eat it.  We left Sunday morning to head back to life and work.
