At the first of the summer I asked the boys what would motivate them to read and do their workbooks this summer. They both said poppers was their motivation of choice. I let them show me what ones they liked, and then they got to work earning them. Landon had to work in his workbook everyday and practice writing his name and be read too. Brecken had to do his workbook too, as well as read 4 Chapter books this summer. Well, he did it with time to spare. They were so excited to earn their prize, and I'm glad I didn't have to nag them all summer about doing work.
