We traveled up north Friday to spend the 4th weekend with them. July 4th is on a Sunday this year so Utah/centerville was celebrating it Saturday. They didn't do a big parade this year so they moved the children's parade to the morning. They had a huge turn out, and a new route. The weather was pleasant and we finished at the park with our pace popsicles. They moved all the festivities to a bigger area/ park and it was so fun. They had plenty of free stuff for families to do and the kids stayed busy most of the morning. We got lemonde, cotton candy, popsicles, we painted, played many games, played in the bounce houses, and so much more. We got home and had some quiet time while the guys all golfed and then we headed up to Heber for a family BBQ. The food was good, and so was the homemade Ice Cream making. Everyone's favorite was the 9 square we got going. After we had cleaned everything up we headed back to Centerville to see the fireworks. We made it just in time and loved it. It was the best yet. We left for home Sunday morning, because both girls had to work at the rec center for the week. We sure had a blast though and were glad we got to spend time with family.
