I have tried to be more hands on with my bees well all the hives this last year. It has actually been something I throughly enjoy learning about and love. In these pictures we were emptying dads hive for the 3rd or 4th time this season. His hive just flourished. His bees new what they were supposed to do....unlike my hive. They do not like to deal with my top super. Dads other hive is doing well too and we might be able to empty some of his honey before the season ends from some of those columns in that hive. We emptied 4 rows this day. It was getting a little colder in the morning so this pour took about 2 hours because the honey wasn't as runny from the heat.
