Hey everyone I'm back! .. this last week we had transfers so it was tough to get an email off.. and I didn't. But let's get into it.
Tuesday: Elder Waid and I attacked his area while waiting for our new companions. He's honestly really legit. He's one of the boys basically and we had some really good lessons and killed it.
Tuesday night: My new comp shows up, Elder Domingues. He was pretty legit I gave him a little dap/ hug to show I loved him but not make things too weird. Definitely feel like I killed it.. and also he didn't have our phone, that he was supposed to have.
Wednesday: We went with the classic pen and paper today.. so for all you old guys who want to try and out complain me on challenges in the mission, you can't use the whole phone gig. Because I too on this day worked without a phone to give me directions or to call our friends.. and honestly it wasn't that bad. Basically exactly the same except for I forgot where 2 people lived so that kinda sucked but it is what it is.
Thursday: Still without phone we worked pretty hard and then picked up the phone in the afternoon and found those people I forgot about. Was a good day fs.
Friday: couldn't tell ya what happened.. but rumor has it I did like 250 pushups on Friday.. Who knows
Saturday: Saturday we worked hard. I helped a member decipher if the Nikes he wanted were from China or legit while asking him for a reference so not only am I helping spread the gospel. But my knowledge of shoes is helping bring forth change in Paraguay as well.
Sunday: Stake conference.. we got our whole zone and watched it. It was super good. Something I loved was... we can't live the "Hakuna Matata" lifestyle spiritually.. and this is so true. I know for me.. at times it seems easier to just deny all of this and go on as if life has no importance and I can do whatever I want. But in reality. Life does have importance. And yes we can do whatever we want. But it should be boosting our spirits and bringing us closer to our Heavenly Father. It's easier to take it on with God than to run away for it without. Anyways.. preacher Monson is done for the day
Elder Hall movie reference: Cars is the best movie.. I loved your reference elder Hall. Good week.. was super fast. I am slowly finding my inner peace like Poe in Kung Fu Panda 2. Poe struggles knowing that Lord Shen killed his parents. And has no peace and therefore cannot perform the martial arts he needs to perform. In the end of the movie, amidst the cannonballs of Shen destroying the land and wreaking havoc on the people. Poe is able to find his inner peace and perform the things that Master Shifu tried teaching him. I know that I can apply this to me. With all the trials. My Savior is my inner peace, and I can perform the things I am supposed to perform. Also, Satan is Lord Shen if you were wondering. Anyways. Till next week! Elder Monson, over and out!
