Preston didn't get out an email this week, but he did send a few pictures. He was able to baptize a girl on Saturday. She wanted to get baptized before Christmas. Her name was Sammy. She was about 13/14. She had been baptised 2 years before, but her records never came through. She didn't want to be bothered and baptized again, but finally this last month decided she would. Preston was able to have his first baptism with Sammy. From what I understand he told me if she wanted to be able to have the church pay for an EFY thing she would have to be baptized before Christmas. Preston didn't find this out tell later after she was baptized. He said "oh well, she is coming to church and I hope she keeps coming and gains a testimony of the gospel, not just to have the church pay for her things.
