We had our annual Gingerbread house competition Dec 11th (Sunday). Sunday works best for everyone and I love spending time with my family. Everyone choose their own teams and got to work with an hour and a half to make their creations. Grandma and Grandpa were the judges with me. Dean and Brecken were a team as well as Matt, Laiklyn, and Landon. Kendyll, Tynlee, Addison with Marci's help were all together, Stephanie and Shaylee, and Lisa and Devin. This year I felt like everyone was finally getting the hang of building these houses. Houses were put together in record time and the decorating started. Some went with classic, some went with the mantra More is More. lol. Some went with a winter wonderland, Christmas colors, and all sorts of stuff. No two houses even looked close to the same. We had hot chocolate and cookies and enjoyed one anothers company. Grand Champ went to Kendyll's Addison and Tyn's house, Blue ribbon went to Steph and Shaylees house. Lisa and Devin got winter wonderland prize, 1st place went to Laike, Landon, and Matt. Best details went to Dean and Brecken. We all wore our Christmas PJ's and had a blast being together. I cant believe Christmas is almost here.
