4th of July was spent in Hurricane watching a small town parade, collecting all the candy and frisbees, and watching the horse poop get picked up. We were able to secure some spots in the shade and enjoyed the weather for the 4th of July. After the parade we went home to prep for our family BBQ and Swim party. We went over to Grandpa and Grandma Eves house and had a big BBQ for lunch and then onto the swim fun. Aunt Stephanie planned some fun swim challenges that we did together as a team. We had to get a boat floaty from one end of the pool and back with our butts both sitting on the floaty. Then pass it off to our teammates. We won the first round and then Dev and lisa's team won the 2nd round. We then played a game where we had to hear a 4th word and jump in the pool feet first and swim to the end and look for the letter on one of the balls to spell the word. One letter per person. We played that 3 times and won 2 times and lost once. Steph did a great job and we all swam for quite a while that day. The kids were fish. Afterwards Addison had to go to work, Shaylee went with friends down to a concert and fireworks and Dean, I and the boys did a puzzle then jumped in our car and headed to Sand Hollow to watch the fireworks from there.
