June 27th-July 3rd

We got to talk to Preston for a while on the 3rd.  Dean didn't have to work he had it off for the 4th so we were getting stuff done and then went swimming over at grandmas.  Even Amy got in the pool.  Preston said they were going to some new shopping places for p-day.  They went out to eat and then went back to the church to play some games.  He said they had some new friends they had made this week and were really promising.  We shall see how they progress.  Preston let us know he was asked to speak in a leadership conference by President.  He had to do a 20 minute discussion on Being a District Leader. He wanted to make sure that he got through to everyone that being a district leader, zone leader, or AP didn't make you any better then anyone out serving the lord.  They are all out trying to accomplish the same thing.   He was a little nervous but had his power point set up and was ready.  He is getting along great with his companion and the other Elders in their district.  During our talk Dean somehow had a cat avatar come on his screen and he couldn't get rid of it.  Preston and I  were getting a kick out of it.  We love seeing his growth and love hearing how he is doing and how he is learning to love the people.
