Baptism of Landon

Landon turned 8 on his birthday this year.  The stake does baptisms on the second saturday of the month.  So Nov 9th at 9:30 Landon and his backyard neighbor and friend were baptised members of the church.  Landon was pretty excited about today.  He couldn't wait and talked about it alot.  He asked his dad to baptise him and Preston confirmed him a member of the church.  Landon did great in the water and was worried it would be cold, but he said it felt nice and warm.  Dean helped him get dressed and he ran out of the bathroom so excited to get confirmed.  I  had to adjust his outfit, and comb his hair and then he was ready to head back in. We took care of the second half of the program so we had Preston give the talk on the holy ghost, Shaylee and Addison were the witnesses at the font and Brecken gave the closing prayer.  It was a wonderful program and we were in and out in under an hour.  Landon invited his friends (Preston's friends) to come to his baptism and be in the confirmation circle.  He was pretty excited about that.  They've been with Landon from day 1 and they are all so good with Landon.  We had Grandpa Eves, Dad (Dean), Uncle Eric, Uncle Quin, Payton, Trey, Weston, and Preston in the circle.  We then went back to our house and had some brunch.  Landon had a bunch of people there who love him.  Aunt Lisa and the girls made it, Aunt Stephanie, Grandma and Grandpa Eves, Grandma Monson, Quin and Dani family, Marie and Eric family, Sally our primary president, Sister Yumani his primary teacher and so many family friends.  We are so proud of Landon and the choice he made to be like our Savior Jesus Christ and be baptized.
