We were up north on the Monson side for Thanksgiving. We arrived Wednesday. We had Addison join us and picked up Preston on our way up. We stopped to get dinner at Chili's because we all love their chips and salsa and then headed the rest of the way up. Grandma Monson keeps the tradition alive with the turkey pancakes. The boys use all the stuff for pictures but then they take off most of it and really don't eat it. My kids are not big breakfast eaters. They then got bundled up and got out to play some football with a turkey bowl. Quin and his family hadn't arrived yet so we were short on numbers, but they had fun and it wasn't to bad of weather. After the turkey bowl we all got ready and help Haldeen get lunch ready. Right when we were saying a prayer to eat Shaylee called so I talked to her for awhile and missed most of the food. I wouldn't have it any other way, and I didn't miss much. lol. It wasn't her thanksgiving up there so she said it was weird knowing it was at home, but it was a regular day up in Canada. There was still some stuff left over. After lunch we watched some football, grandma made cake for her dads 110th birthday which was that same day, and she had Dean preform the christmas dragnet. After all of Haldeens brothers left we did a gift exchange with the monson family. Syd and joes family had us and she made us a wonderful picnic blanket/quilt. It was beautiful. We also had to gear up for black friday a lot fo the people decided to head to logan to AL's to try and be the first 100 in line to win a hydro jug and gift cards. They woke up at 2:00 to get in line, but when they got up there it was a mess the crowd was wrapped around the building. My family headed back to go to a few other stores, but missed the free stuff at those too. Addison ended up having to go into work or be fired so she caught a ride home friday to go to work that night. We were really bummed she didn't stay up with us. After she left we hit up Farmington station and found some good deals at American Eagle and Nike. We hit up target, and walmart, and many others. We shopped most of the day tell it was time to head to dinner and the Jazz game that night. We got tickets with almost everyone. We missed Syd and Joe's family, but the rest of us enjoyed the game and we ended up winning which makes it even more fun. The kids loved it and were cheering and dancing the whole time. We tried eating at elmadedore, but ran out of time so we grabbed Cafe Rio. The next day we did more shopping with the family, and then went to layton to see Christmas lights. They had a good display and then we headed home to centerville to watch the new Zootopia 2 which we all loved. it was such a good movie for being a 2nd. After the movie we went home and watched some more basketball and football. The next day we woke up to it snowing the boys played in it while we packed up to head home. It was so good to see family and we always enjoy our time together
