Our friend Ronak was able to make it to the waters of baptism this week. Roank is very smart and literally already knows everything plus some! I was blessed to be able to share my testimony with him! The baptism was amazing and we plan to take him to the temple this next week!
HALLOWEEEN
For Halloween we had alot of rules haha. Im in the city and ill tell you what Whyte Ave was crazy this weekend and we were not allowed even remotely over there. We saw the aftermath of all the party's yesterday and there was puke and trash everywhere! We got to go to a YSA trunk or treat though and it was really fun! It was actually freezing but we made it work. We werent allowed to stay long but it still kinda made the day feel like a normal Halloween!
ZONE CONFERENCE
We had a 9 hour zone conference this weekend! I'll tell you what, I definitely need more than 9 hours of training to become a better missionary but 9 hours of training was so long!!! They ran out of food at lunch so by the end up this day we were all starving and burnt out! The traning was good haha but im not sure how much I got out of it towards the end of it!
OTHER THINGS THAT HAPPENED
○ Me and Sis.clark built a Halloween puzzle
○ Bought some gloves finally
○ Moved playgrounds equipment and froze to death
○ Made Carmel apples for the baptism
○ Taco bell run (shout out to haleigh)
○ Had 3 friends come to church!
○ Played secret Hitler illegally
○ Met a homeless dude who is the GOAT
○ My friend from Glen Allan got baptized
○ My other friend from Glen Allan gets baptized on Saturday
○ Learned what a dip stick is
○ Hit 4 months as a missionary
SPIRITUAL THOUGHT:
This week we were walking on campus and it was 23 outside so we were all pretty miserable. We were getting rejected by lots of people and haha it was just rough. We were about to go walk back to the car because we werent having very much luck and I had a prompting to walk a certain direction on campus. I didnt want to make my comps keep going but I knew I would regret it if I didn't say anything so I turned to them and said that I didnt know why but I felt like we needed to walk a certain direction and keep going. We kept going and split up so we could talk to more people. I stopped and talked to this one guy walking past me and it was such a great experience. I was able to teach him about repentance and long story short he came to church on sunday and loved it. After fast and testimony meeting he said to me "one day I want to have a testimony i can go up there and share". I have such a strong testimony of following promptings! Even if you arent sure its a prompting always follow it because you never know what can happen!
