TRANSFERS

CHAPTER 20: Gateway YSA/ Downtown Edmonton

WEATHER:  

These last two weeks have been crazy!!! Here's your update: 

TRANSFERS: 

Im staying in YSA! Im living in a quad now with 3 sisters who came out with me! Its going to be a party! Ill miss my old companionship but this transfer will be super fun!!! 

JD DISTRICT: 

My district this transfer was amazing! At the beginning of the transfer we set a goal that we wanted to be known as the "joyful district- hence the name JD" anyway i have loved serving around them! We all went to the temple on Tuesday for our p-day. Than on wednesday we all went to a service where we are shipping things to Africa! Than that afternoon we had our last district council! It was honestly sad but the spirit was so strong! President and Sister Matheson came to that district council so it was honestly just good all around! 

SICK:

Sister Dent was sick this weekned and so we spent two days inside the house. We had a couple lessons that couldn't be rescheduled so we hid her in a room at the church and me and Sister Clark still taught the lessons. Being trapped in the house is honestly the most boring thing ever. Especially as a missionary. There is literally nothing to do than to read your scriptures (which is great haha but that's a long time for scripture study) Anyways, send prayers that Sis.Dent starts to feel better so we arent trapped inside this house any longer than we have to be 

OTHER THINGS THAT HAPPENED: 

♡ Went thrifting with members 

♡ Beat our friend Taylor in our weekly bash session (after getting demolished last week) 

♡ Built the same puzzle 5 different times 

♡ Got matching PJ w/ Sis. Clark

♡ Got dumped by 2 friends 

♡ Almost got in a car crash (driving in the snow is gonna be miserable) 

♡ Ronak (our friend) gave us all christmas gifts 

♡ Already had a Christmas party in YSA! (Everyone in university is going back home for the holidays so its about to be rough... wish us luck, plus its finals season )
