MERRY CHRISTMAS??? 
CHAPTER 18: Gateway YSA/ Downtown Edmonton

WINTER IS HERE
WINTER IS HEREBecause Thanksgiving here is in October November is basically just an extended time for everyone to celebrate Christmas! It that it basically feels like christmas had december. So merry christmas i guess 
RONAK/ TEMPLE
We were able to take our recent convert Ronak through the temple this week. It was a really cool experience. He has made some really good friends from our YSA ward and so we were all able to go together. Ronak told us after that he prefers to be the witness and not do the baptisims
REINHART
For those of you who actually read my weekly Reinhart was a old friend of mine in Glen Allan. We put reinhart on date 3 lessons in. After we had him on date we learned he wasn't in our area so we had to pass him off. I was pretty devastated. His baptism was this weekend though and in order to go we had to find a friend. Me and my comps worked all week trying to find a friend to go to this baptism with us so I could go. We found someone last minute and I got there in time to take a picture with him but than our friend canceled so I wasn't actually allowed to stay the whole time. Me and my old comp Sis.hinds stood in the back next to each other and watched him get baptized and than left because we weren't able to stay. It was still a super special experience and it meant the world to me that I was even able to go for a little bit! He's truly amazing!
OTHER THINGS THAT HAPPENED:
○ Put a earring in a homeless dudes ear
○ Had a guy save us from a homeless dude
○ Have a aly on the streets
○ Denied 3 people of our snap chat in 1 day
○ Trecked 4 hours in the snow (of course the day its pouring snow we have no lessons)
○ Spoke in church and actually got YSA people to laugh 
○ My comp made me speak Chinese to this dude on campus and we actually had a 10 minute convo about church and things. (Gift of tongues is real)
SPIRITUAL THOUGHT:
I listened to this talk this week and was able to share it with a friend. Its one of my favorite talks and i encourage all of you to watch it if you have time this week!
