Summer showers are our favorite and sadly this was the only one we have had all summer and it only lasted about 30 minutes. I also got the boys to go on walks with me. Each at a different time, so it was fun to get that one on one with them. Landon and I walked over to the High school tennis courts to watch Addison and Brecken play

June 16th-22nd last week in Provo MTC
This week was the final week that Shaylee would be in the MTC. She told us she could always use more training and wouldn't mind staying a little longer, but was also excited and ready to get her mission started. Shaylee also got a little sick this week and had to stay in her room for half a day which her and sister Glazier were so board they made playing cards with paper. She left on this p day so we didn't get to video call with her. But she did send out an email for the week.
Lost Sheep
What's up guys, I cant believe its already p-day again. This week has literally flown by. My days sometimes feel forever long but my weeks always seem to slip away from me. I'm sure your wondering why you are receiving this message at 3:30 in the morning and that's because the MTC thinks missionaries just don't need any sleep. The power of God is enough for us to power through without sleep I guess. Anyways I fly to Canada today so I actually am only able to send one email today before I fly out to Canada... so next time I email you guys I'll officially be in Edmonton!!!! My MTC experience flew by and I loved every second of it! Long live district 7C!!!!
Lost Sheep
CHAPTER 2: Salt Lake Airport
Weather update: To be determined
We went to the temple on Thursday and did sealings. It was my first time doing sealings and it was so cool. It also took super long though because there were so many missionaries. So basically we did 2 sessions but everyone only to go once
so let's just say we had a lot of people sleeping in our session.

Me and sister Glazier finished up the rest of our HOA appointments this week and we ended up getting really good scores and some helpful feedback so that's good. I'm not sure were feeling super confident going into canada but hopefully we can develop some confidence over time

Sunday was an eventful day. I woke up Sunday morning and felt like trash. I went to sacrament meeting and relief society but still wasn't feeling well at all. Me and my comp checked my temp and I had a fever of about 100 degrees. So we were bedridden the rest of the day. We did some studying and took a nap. Me and sister glazier also made a homemade deck of cards because we were so bored. My district stopped by and a couple of elders in my district gave me a blessing. The spirit was so strong during that blessing. And by some crazy miracle I am better. (Better enough to travel) Honestly this was such a blessing because if I would have stayed sick me and sister glazier would have had to stay at the MTC longer.
For those wondering why my subject for this email is "lost sheep" its because me and sister glazier still can't seem to stay with our district. We're always lost. Either they keep leaving us on purpose or we genuinely just can't seem to keep up. (Were thinking its the first one
) So we called ourselves the lost sheep and honestly we continue to live by this name.

SPIRITUAL THOUGHT:
In one of my classes this week we sung the primary song "my heavenly father loves me". My aunt passed away over a year ago and all of the kids sung that song at her funeral, that's the last time I had sung the hymn. I was only aware of the 2 verses of the song. But in class we sung that song with a third verse. I had never heard the third verse before but it goes like this:
Whenever I think of the saviors hands
In prayer at Gethsemane,
Whenever I picture him healing the lame
Or causing the blind to see,
Whenever I think how He willingly gave
His perfect life for me,
I marvel as gratitude swells in my heart,
I know heavenly father loves me.
I thought about this verse multiple times after we had sung it and I think its such a simple beautiful reminder of just how much jesus christ loves each and everyone of us. His sacrifice was the ultimate expression of love. I am so grateful for jesus christ. I know that because of him and through him I can change and come closer to him. Because of jesus christ we can have peace knowing that when our loved ones pass away, it isn't the end. I know that my aunt is with her heavenly father and I know that this can all happen because of jesus christ. If you ever find yourself questioning Christ's love for you remember the gift he gave you that day in Gethsemane.

Eves Reunion / Williamson Reunion
Saturday morning was another early golf round for the golfers. While they were out golfing we got to work decorating Grandma's cake, and when I say we I mean I watched while steph and lisa did the work. Grandma was in charge of the reunion so she wanted to get there early for the blow-ups, and setting up all the tables canapes and frost the sugar cookies. She left with a lot of the adult kids and the rest of us came with the cake. We got there and all the family was starting to arrive. I jumped in the truck with Grandpa and steph to pick up the pizza. We got the big giant pizza from a place in garden city. We bought 5 or 6 giant pizzas and it was so much. They were huge. When we got back we had a big family pictures nand then let Grandma Hannah be first in line for the food. Lisa had asked everyone to send pictures of grandma hannah and their families and she put together a slide show. It was so cute seeing all the pictures of when she was younger and watching her grow up and have a family and then to all the grandkids and then great grandkids. She has lived a great life and we all love her so much. It was good to see all my cousins that could make it. Some I haven't seen for over 20+ years. We were missing I think almost half of our group maybe not that many. In our family we didn't have Justin Katie and Emily, as well as Matthew, and Shaylee is on her mission. We also had so much fun with the blowups the obstacle course was a hit and the adults had raves against each other. It was a lot of fun to watch. I raced Dean and he barley beat me. I also raced Landon and Lakers. We talked my mom into racing aunt Wendy, and Dean and Devin raced against each other as well as Steph against Lisa. We had 9 square set up as well and we played a few rounds of that. It was so fun to just be together and visit with all our family. After the party our family went to La Beaus for shakes and food. A few people from my family ended up getting some hoodies from the sweatshirt shop. We then came back to the house and had some games of pickleball and games inside. While I was playing pickleball shaylee facetimed me. She informed me that she had to take some stuff out of her suitcase but they think they got it under 50 lbs so that her and sister Glazier don't have to pay the overweight fee at the airport. It made me laugh. We talked to her for a little bit and then went inside for the night. The next morning was Sunday leaving home day. Everyone was up pretty early to start their sheets and cleaning so we could get on the road. Steph made us some yummy breakfast sandwiches and then we all were off. Sure do love that Grandpa and Grandma have a place up there for us but miss them while they are up there.
