Valentines landed on a Saturday this year, so schools celebrated on Friday. I was supposed to help out in Landon's class, but had a change of plans with Breckens Tonsils coming out the day before. I sent in drinks. Landon was so excited to make his valentine box. He wanted a Messi one and couldn't decided on which jersey. He finally chose the blue jersey and we got to work making it. He handed out sports bracelets for his valentine handout to all his classmates. He also told me he had a valentine and she told him he had to get her something extra. lol. So I picked up a little stuffy and chocolate heart and sent him on his way. He came home with a bag with Shin guards and a chocolate heart from his Valentines as well and was excited tell he realized the shin guards would fit dad. After school and soccer practice Dean and Addison headed up to the Monson side to do a temple trip for Kirk's birthday. They went to the Layton temple and grabbed Preston on the way up. I stayed back because Brecken has just had surgery the day before and second Landon had his big basketball tournament that weekend. Dean and Preston went to the temple with the Monson crew and then headed over to heidi's where Addison was watching the kids who couldn't go and they ate a lunch and headed home to spend valentines with me and to drop Preston off for the BYU basketball game. They made it home in time for our annual valentine dinner and gifts. Brecken of course didn't eat so we bought him a Zeppes for his dinner. I sure do love this crew of mine and am grateful each day I get to spend with them.
