4th of July

We spent the 4th week up with family in Centerville, and then onto Bear Lake.  Preston is missing in all these pictures, because he went up to Bear Lake a couple days earlier with Grandpa & Grandma Eves.  So we had the girls and Brecken with us.  We left Wednesday morning the 3rd so we could make it for the children's parade.  The girls road scooters, and we watched from the side this year.  We usually walk with them to make sure they make it to the right place.  It was rather hot, but compared to down here we thought it was alright.

Centerville's firework show is also on the 3rd so after the parade we went back to grandmas for Pizza, and then headed back to the park for the firework show.  We love Centerville's fireworks and they didn't disappoint this year.  Brecken was really good, to we started covering his ears then he got a little restless.  Over all we had a great 3rd.  The next morning we woke up and headed down to the Centerville parade.  There were a lot of good floats, and candy of course.  It was really a nice morning since it had rained the night before.

Had to put a picture of Brecken in the mix so you really know he was there.  He hung out in the stroller.    After the parade we headed straight up to Bear Lake to make it to another parade @ 1:00 in Paris.  We made it just in time to watch the parade with our other cousins.

This parade is so small it goes back around.  It starts on one side then comes to the other side.  The kids or I should say Dean couldn't stop laughing over this.  We then headed over to Montpelier to do some golfing on my brothers course, then we waited around for Montpelier fireworks.  Again Dean laughed his head off at how bad they were.  I tried to worn him, but you just have to witness it first hand I guess.  We got an average of a firework a minute, Give or take a few.   The end was about 4 fireworks.
It was a little chilly so we had to put on jackets, that and the mesquites were out in full force.

We didn't even plan this.  We do look patriotic if I do say so myself.  We had a great 4th, and enjoyed our day with both families.
