Aunt Marci took Brecken's one year old pictures. She did a great job, and so glad we were able to get them done. He wasn't to happy about the idea of it, but he did love the little car he got to play in. We sure love you Brecken.
Brecken's Birthday May 9th
Breckens birthday was Friday we woke up and had him open his presents, he didn't understand the wrapping paper, but loved the gifts inside. I think the kids enjoyed playing with his gifts more then he did. We then went upstairs for waffles for his birthday breakfast. He loved them and scarfed them all down. For cake and ice cream we just gave him a little cupcake to eat. Well, he dove for it the whole time we are singing to him, finally he gets his hands on it, and hates the feel of it in his hands, he hated getting his hands dirty, as long as I fed it to him he was fine, but he hated the feel of his hands all sticky.
Brecken 12 months stats. He is 18.75 lbs. 30'long. He is a little guy. He loves chicken. Any kind of chicken will do. He doesn't care for potatoes…none of my kids did. He like strawberries, and raspberries, and other fruit. He is an OK eater…I've had picker. He is still taking 2 naps a day mostly just one big one. but he still needs a little cat nap in the morning to make it tell his 1 o'clock nap time. He then sleeps tell about 3:30-4. He loves to cuddle with mom and his blanket. I didn't get a lot of cuddles so I LOVE doing this with him all the time. He is walking. He started around 11 months and can now pull himself up to standing position without any help. He doesn't have to crawl to furniture of a wall or anything. He wants to run to keep up with the kids, and he falls using his head to land on something most of the time. He has tons of bruises constantly on his face. He loves balls, and plays pass with us. He is not very far on his vocabulary. He babbles, but no big word yet. Only dada, baba, mamma, things like that. We are trying though. He loves to clap and associates anyone cheering with clapping. He loves to give people HI 5's he thinks it's fun. He loves doing somersaults, and I will find this kid with his head on the ground and his bum in the air waiting for me to push him over. We have been working with him on folding his arms for the prayers. When we are done with the prayer, we usually go yeah bracken and cheer, he then claps his hands. Well at church on Sunday grandma was holding him during the prayer, she folded his arms, and when it was finished he sat there and clapped his hands, it was so cute, and made grandma laugh. He loves to hold books and turn the pages. He has 2 teeth on the bottom, but a third is so close to popping through. Also he is getting one on the top that is really close too. He sure is a cute little guy even though he isn't the most content baby. He is a screamer and yeller, and wants to be held, or played with constantly. We love you bracken. Happy Birthday.
