Hope you all enjoyed that little subject for my email this week. Up is an amazing movie. Love it. Watch it for me. Anyways.. Here we are with another weekly email. For those of you that are still somehow tuning in, nice. I love that. Anyways lets get into it

Monday: I got a cute haircut  for my Zone conference on Tuesday.

Tuesday: Zone conference. I understood more than I thought. My interview went good.. I think. And I didn't have to worry about dinner because they fed me. And I didnt have to walk. Absolutely thrived on Tuesday.

Wednesday: This day sucked. I chose to be angry that my comp and I didn't look at the weather. and when we were about an hour walk away from our apartment, it started to rain.. down pouring. I wouldn't have minded, but I was freezing. Then I told myself to put on my big boy pants and be happy so it became a good day.

Thursday: I was a stud today.. hit the smile and wave to quite a few people and really did nice with my testimony on the book of mormon during lessons.

Friday: We got money on Friday. I was so happy, I needed it. I hit a smooth gritty after and also did a good job with the teaching.

Saturday: Saturday was a rollercoaster let me tell ya. Yes, I got to listen to conference in English. Super hyped about that! And also, being a mastermind with words, I explained to my comps what we needed to do in order to negotiate a lower price for a new apartment we wanted. I was nervous they wouldn't be as good as me if I could speak Spanish, but that it would have to do because my Spanish isn't working all the way quite yet. They did good enough, and we got a good enough price that I think we can move there. So I am pretty pumped about that. Conference was amazing. Elder Rasband talked about the Book of Mormon. This talk hit me. Because I can't do much. But I can bare a testimony on Joseph Smith and The Book of Mormon and give them the best gift I have to offer. It was awesome. After this we went proselytizing and I rolled my ankle again and shook my fists in the air and said all kinds of words in my head but the words coming out of my mouth were "Preston, you beautiful son of God, there was a rock there, you idiot." and I was proud of myself for saying something good. Anyways yeah.. The same stupid ankle. Rip.

Sunday: Sunday was legit. Loved conference. There was a talk by Ryan K. Olsen I liked. In that he said a phrase. It's not a place, it's a people. And I'm not going to lie, my initial thoughts went to Thor Ragnarok when Odin tells Thor this. And then I wished I could have muscles and good looks like Chris Hemsworth. But after that, I thought of a question I had. Why am I here, in Paraguay, doing the Lord's work? Why Paraguay of all places. In Spanish, the worst Spanish student of all time has to learn Spanish. And then these words, its not a place, its a people. I am here for the people. It doesn't matter that they live in Paraguay or speak Spanish. So that was pretty cool.

This week was good. I love you all, until next week..
everyone's favorite,
Elder Preston Monson
