Labor day weekend was pretty rainy. It started to rain Thursday night and continued into Friday and Saturday. Brecken walked around at Peach days Friday night with his friends and Dean and I went and picked up a couple boxes of peaches for us and mom. We knew it was going to be rainy for the parade but figured it would be better then hot sun. Boy we got soaked. The parade was so long and we ended up leaving at float like 75 and there was over 100 entries. We were lucky and got below some trees to keep most of the water off of us, but then it just kept coming and they were not much help anymore. The girls were super excited to get up and watch a parade in the rain, and the boys left with shirts, footballs, peaches, popsicles and more candy then we need. So over all I would say it was a success. We went over later when the rain had subsided to let the boys buy water weenies and walked around the booths tell it started raining again.
