After the cold rainy day before, we woke up to blue skies and sunshine. We also woke up to Deer in the backyard. Lots of them. It was so beautiful to watch with the sunrise. We were all in awe. After the deer we all got to work finishing up some of the pickleball courts. The weather was still cooler of course, but with the sun it felt nice. We had the middle fence going down the two courts we had to put up and drill into the cement. We actually didn't get it all done because we needed some important pieces that were missing so Jer Bear has to take a trip to pick up the pieces, but we put a big dent in the project and left with a fence put up around the courts. After the fence we got some lunch and headed out to hike bloomington lake. I didn't think we would see anyone up there with it being cold and fall. But hunters, and other fall breakers were up and out. We hit most of them coming down the mountain so it wasn't too bad when we went on the hike only a few cars in the parking lot. There was snow still in some of the shady areas but it felt so good outside. Dean and the boys made it back just in time to go on the hike with us. We got to the water and Addison and Kendyll decided it was a smart idea to do the rope swing. They had worn their swimsuits under their clothes and we brought some towels with us so they got right to work jumping in. They both came up screaming and out of breath, but both said it wasn't as bad as they thought it would be. As were are getting done with those two I turn around and Jer Bear was stripping down and getting in the water (WTH)?? He got down to his white garment bottoms and starts swimming around. I look obe and moms in up to her knees. She says it does wonders for her sore knees. Jer said the same thing he was hoping the cold plunge would help his back a little bit. We all died laughing because we were not the only ones around and people had to be wondering what the heck we were doing getting undressed. After everyone dried off we started back down the mountain hoping to make it back in time to play a round of golf. The day couldn't have been better and we got in our golf round with all the littles as well. I rode with Laike in the cart because she needed to drive it everywhere. lol. We ended the night with some card games and Princess Bride watching. Which Brecken ended up loving. (Who knew?)
