We finished our soccer season/first year of club soccer up this last weekend. May was busy, but add in all our games and we were at the field 2 times a week. We ended with one loss this entire year, and learned a lot. The boys grew in soccer and learned positions and passing. They played like a team. It was fun to watch them grow. Their spanish teacher came for the last game and handed out popsicles and wanted pictures. Landon had a coupole goals and we won 5-3. It was a close game, but the boys worked well together even when we got down a goal. We had a soccer party awards night that friday and all the boys came and got medals we had bought. We loved coaching and managing this last year, but are glad for a break. Along with soccer this weekend. The boys also used their free applebees and got dinner with dad, and then went to some golf tournament out at copper rock for the day.

Field Day
Landon was able to feel a little better the next day to not miss out on field day. I was in charge of a station and of course we brought nine square. Dean had the day off and was able to help me. love that. The kids love it and for the most part are good at it and figuring it out. We put it in the shaded area to keep us nice and cool. After this day through Landon missed the last two days of school.

3rd grade wax museum
Landon from day one when he found out about the wax museuam said he wanted to be Lionel Messi. He has loved the soccer player forever. I put him to work reading the books to learn more about him and making his google slides and then we had to make his tri fold poster. He loved decorating the poster and learning about Messi. I asked him what his favorite thing he learned about Messi, He told me that it was his size. He had a growth issue growing up and had to seek medical help they couldn't afford. One of the club teams he was going to play for said they would pay for his medical care. Landon is small and so he says he likes that Messi is small but is one of the greatest players of all time so size does not; matter. He had to learn a paragraph about Messi and share it will anyone who walked by during their wax museum assembly. He did great and I even got Brecken to go with me as well.

2 on Date?
CHAPTER 44: Fort St. John (BC Canada)
WEATHER:
We got into the 70s °F this week!!!
2 ON DATE?
Okay this week we were planning to put our friends Jack and Alex on date for baptism. Since we've met them they havent missed a day of church (they've come 4 weeks in a row) We've been meeting with them pretty consistently now and so the plan was to put them on date this week. We set our on date goal to 2 new people on date this week and went on preparing their lesson. Their lesson was going to be on Sunday so we had plenty of time to prepare.
Throughout the week we were swamped. For such a small town this place is blessed. We met with our friend James on Friday. James has never had an actual lesson with missionaries (but hes met them once before) so we give bro a church tour and we walk into the baptismal font and bro is like ready for baptism. So I go to put him on date and realize that I want my daughter to put him on date so I gave her the look and than she was able to put him on date for baptism! So the next day we meet with our friend ethan. We teach him a lesson and than give him a little tour of the full church since he hasnt seen all of it yet. We walk into the baptismal font and it was the same feeling. So again I go to put bro on date and than realize I want my daughter to do it so I give her the look again and boom! 2/2!!! It was awesome! We were so excited! Come Sunday we extended a baptismal invite to Jack and Alex and they decided to pray about the decision! It was cool to see God helping us reach our goal even though it wasnt with the people we thought it was going to be with!
WESLEY
Okay for those of you who dont know, Wes is our young adult friend! We've been teaching him but he struggles from alot including addiction. We actually havent been able to meet with him for like 2 weeks because he ghosted us. But this week he reached back out. We met him at a park. The lesson was pretty last minute so I had a random talk come to mind and we just went with it. Its titled "Beware the second Temptation" the talk seemed a bit harsh and we got a bit scared but it lightened up and it ended up being amazing! He asked us after how we always know what to read or listen to every time! It was an amazing lesson. The coolest thing happened after our lesson though! After our lesson we played a pick up game of basketball with Wesley. He told us he had never played an actual game of basketball so we told him we would play with him! It was amazing and so much fun! It was so cool to see how happy he was and to us what was just a small pick up game to him it was his first ever basketball game. He told our ward members that he played his first basketball game this week and it was so cool!

SPIRITUAL THOUGHT:
So one of my comps asked me to type her a spiritual poem (that's what she calls these things haha) so this is what I typed up this week
I always saw them as the bad guys
That's just how i always read their story
You learn it in primary
Good VS Bad
Who you want to become and who you want to avoid becoming
The two brothers were often used as an example
And not the good type of example
One of those examples your teacher gives you in class on what not to write or say in your essay
The type of example where everyone looks around and starts secretly accusing people in their head on which person in the class would fall under the example that was just given
The type of example that nobody will admit they have become or have once became
And thats how i always saw them
Someone i would never become
Someone who i didnt want to become
They were the bad guys
And i most certanitly wasnt a bad guy
Right?
That was until the other day
It was one of those days
When nothing was going our way
I caught myself
Not right away
But i caught myself murmuring
Not against my younger brother or my father
But against my own circumstances
It wanst until i realized that i, too, had been asked to do something hard
Until i saw that i, too, know better and still choose the easier path sometimes
Until i realized that my heart was hardend because things werent going my way
Until i realized that i, too, wanted to return home and give up
I too, like them, have had my own brass plates ive been asked to get
I too, have complained about the journey on my way to get them
I too, have wanted to give up
I too, have doubted
Dwindle in unbelief
Questioned
Lashed out
Forgotten
Laman and lemuel werent the villans
They were sons
They were brothers
They were member
I always saw them as the bad the guys
Until i saw myself in them
And now theyre the mercy
Because if the lord didnt give up on them
And reached for them time and time again
Than he will do the same for us
Even on the days when we murmur
Even on the days we complain
Even on the days when we want to turn around and go home
He will continue to extend his mercy to each of us
I always saw them as the bad guys
But they are you and me
And we arent bad guys
We are his mercy
