MISSION CONFERENCE:
This week was awesome! On wednesday we made the 8 hour car ride to edmonton for mission conference. We got there and were able to do the last temple session of the night which was a W. We woke up the next day and went to mission conference and it was so fun seeing all of the missionaries again! We got to hear a church researcher speak and he answered difficult questions about the gospel that either we had or our friends had. It was so cool! Honestly W conference and I just loved being able to see everyone again!!! We learned about how important it is for latter day saints to know what they believe and to work hard for their knowledge and testimonies! He talked about how faith is so important but we have to exercise our faith to find answers to questions!

SPIRITUAL THOUGHT:
Best Days and Worst Days
Every Monday we go over to one of our Filipino families houses and we have family home evening. The father of the house hold refrenced the talk above and asked each of us to think of our worst day or days. As we reflected he than asked us to think of the blessing that came after that day or days. Instantly I was able to think of blessings that came after all of my bad days. We went around the room and were all able to share these experiences and it was so cool to see how everyone had blessings that came after their storms! It reminds me of this quote:
"To prove a piece of steel is to add heat, weight and pressure until its true nature is enhanced and revealed. Rather than being weakened by the proving, the steel becomes stronger and trustworthy. The Lord proves us in much the same way to strengthen us. That proving does not come in moments of ease or comfort. It comes in moments when we feel stretched beyond what we thought we could bear. I bear witness that these moments are not evidence that the Lord has abandoned you. Rather, they are evidence that He loves you enough to refine and strengthen you. He is making you strong enough to carry the weight of eternal life.”
- President Henry B. Eyring
I think of the bible story when they were all in this boat and there was this huge storm. Jesus was in the boat yet he was asleep. The apostles woke him worried and frightened. Theres a lesson there. One that I tend to forget. That Jesus christ was able to sleep because Jesus Christ was greater than the storm. He was calm because he was greater than it all, and when we trust him we can be calm during our storms of life as well!
I love and miss you all! Please email me!
