Brecken turned 13 on his birthday. It was on a Saturday so he didn't have to do to school. The night before was father and sons so the boys went up for a few hours and hung out with each other and the ward up on some land in between colorado city and Kanab. Preston was down for a wedding so we got to see him that night as well. Brecken wanted to be woken up to open his presents. He didn't want to sleep in on his birthday. He didn't want to miss a thing. He got a lava lamp, new shoes, a watch, and a metal detector. He wanted of course donuts for his birthday breakfast and then we headed out for soccer. We knew hanging out watching his brother play soccer wouldn't be the funnest so while we were there I had addison and family set up a little surprise party tennis match for him at some courts near by. He was so excited to see everyone and had a blast playing with everyone from lisa, devin, to grandpa and grandma. After tennis we went out to eat. He chose Pizza Factory and we all had a blast celebrating Brecken. When we got home we let him choose a movie and had ice cream cake from DQ. He is such a loving kid and is pretty laid back. He loves tennis, drawing, and kind of craft, playing games and being with his friends. He has the best laugh and will laugh at all your jokes plus some. Its the best to watch his sense of humor. We love you Brecken and are so glad you are in our family.
