Preston's Farewell

Preston spoke in church July 17th at 9:00 a.m.  He did an amazing job.  He spoke on becoming more like Christ.  He shared a lot of neat stories and I loved listening to him bare his testimony in Spanish.  After his talk they had most of the Elders sing a song before they all left on their missions.  They sang "Army of Helaman."  They did such a great job.  I had tears in my eyes listening to them sing.  After that the Stake President took the remaining time left.  Right after sacrament we had to be rushed in to the high council office to get Preston set apart as an Elder.  The Stake President did a lovely job in the blessing and we all felt comfort and peace from the blessing.  We came home to hoagie sandwiches, fruit, veggies, chips and Pop cookies.  We loved seeing everyone that could make it and all the family that drove so far.  We missed those who couldn't come, but we tried to live stream it so everyone could watch that couldn't come.  Preston and our family felt so much love that day and we couldn't believe the time had come to start Home MTC the next day. July 18th.
