This last golf tournament should have been cancelled do to weather, but since the week before they only got in 9 holes they were not going to stop this from happening. It was brutally cold. I had hand warmers, and gave them to Shaylee. We were dressed warm and had umbrellas but still got drenched. We heard thunder, but they didn't stop the game. Shaylee was tapped out about hole 5 and it was rough from then on. Poor girl couldn't feel any part of her body she couldn't even swing her club. She had the worst game yet and cried multiple times. Steph and I walked with her and tried to be there for her, but she didn't want to play today. We walked with her for 10 holes, and then left and Dean walked with her the last 8 holes. She mentally was not in it and physically was in pain and cold. Its over and hopefully she can learn from it and do better at the next tournament.

Random pictures and happenings for March
Addison and her friend Emily took some of our dinner and had a picnic with Emily's dogs on the beach at the lake. It was freezing, so i'm no quiet sure why they did it, but you just can't talk those girls out of too many things. I was busy this month doing a bunch of poster boards for friends and family for Prom. I love doing them.

March 21st-27th
There are a few different pictures in this post. The first ones are from a early meeting with the president at a conference at the beginning of March. The next group of pictures are from this last week with his companion Elder Carey. They were able to baptise the 3 kids that they had been teaching the last few weeks. They were so excited and the mom who was already a member who was inactive has been coming back to church as well. She also takes care of her daughters kids and so Preston thinks there is a good possibility to take to all her older kids and their kids and teach them too. Preston baptised the 2 oldest 12 who are twins. A boy and a girl. I can't remember names but when I talk to him next I'll ask him. They had a lot of cool experiences with the kids and teaching and it worked out that they all wanted to be baptised on the same day. Preston was informed this week also that he will be staying in the area and training a greenie. He was pretty excited for that , but also a little nervous with the spanish. They had some neat experiences with a women who had prayed to find someone to bring her peace and Preston said they felt strongly to talk to her. They gave her a book of mormon and invited her to church so they feel hopeful that will work out as well. I can't remember everything else he told me but he is doing amazing and getting into the groove of this whole mission thing. Oh, while I was talking to Preston Grandpa and Matt came by to help me fix my tub so he was excited to talk to them and see their faces. He made fun of grandpa for always wearing his overalls now days.

Landon Soccer game
Landon was excited to get back to soccer with his 2 weeks missing for cousin paige's wedding, and then he was sick the next week. The the next week they had it off for Spring break so 3 weeks had went by for him without a game. This team had some fast people that could keep up with Landon or get ahead of him while he kicked the ball, he did okay though and I think they won 2-1. He has the most knowledge and skill set on both teams but when you have 14 kids in a circle kicking it at each other it's hard for anyone to play. lol.

Landon's first loose tooth
While I was at Shaylee's golf tournament I received an email from Landon's teacher. I had Addison pick the boys up from school and hadn't seen them yet for the day when I received this email. She let me know that Landon finally lost his tooth that had been lose forever. He lost it in school somewhere. He wanted it to come out at school so bad so he could get the little tooth necklace the office hands out for you to hold your tooth in and not lose it. So he was pretty upset to have lost it. I thought the email the teacher sent was sure nice and sweet. He does have the best teacher. When I got home from the golf tournament he came to show me his missing tooth. I read the email to him and he was glad the tooth fairy would still be coming. The tooth fairy did come and left him a little note with 2$ for his first lost tooth.
