St. George golf course was the first course we started the season out on. Shaylee had never played it before and it was a little bit of a mess. The day started out a cloudy and cold. She was put with the #2's and was a nervous wreck thinking he had to play with them. I was a nervous wreck for her. Leading up to the tournament Shaylee had been playing great golf. She went out with Grandma and and aunt Steph and scored a 47. She then went to the range with Me the next day and hit great. They all looked amazing. Then the day before the tournament at practice she couldn't hit anything she started crying and called me to vent. We got Steph up there after practice and worked her through some things, but she went into the tournament not feeling great about her swing. they only had to play 9 holes this day before of daylight running out and she started off pretty good had one hole she had to pick up on and a couple that she had some not good hits but overall it was a good learning tournament and she was able to enjoy playing with the girls she was with. They were nice to her and she kept up with them so I think it helped to see they were all about the same. The last 3 holes the sun decided to come out and it felt much better to play and watch in. So, in the pictures you will notice the two different weathers, Sunny and cloudy. She ended with a 59 which she wasn't too excited about but was happy with how she played over all. I loved walking with her and being there for her. She did so much better when Coach Jurca would stay with her but he of course had to go be with the other girls too, but when he was around she nailed the holes.
