Hey guys what's up Elder Monson is in fact back with an email, it's your lucky week. I'm going to hit a few topics this week and hope you enjoy.

The lesbian daughter: Well guys one of our friends we are currently teaching leaned in and started whispering to me about his daughter.. she was sitting pretty nearby, holding hands with another lady. He told me that he's told her she could get a guy and have kids and a family and it would all be good. But she got with a girl instead. He then told me that he didn't like it at all, but that if they're happy and have those feelings for eachother then Heavenly Father must be happy as well which means he needs to be happy for them.. Yikes. At this moment I took a look at my companion who had not heard a single word that was whispered to me. My comp was kinda having a hard time so I knew it was just me in this moment. I gave myself the pregame peptalk, told myself how awesome I am. And then proceeded to try and explain to him. That they are allowed to make their own decisions and that we can't control that and I'm sure they're great people. But then explaining that Heavenly Father was in fact, not happy and that we believe marriage is between a man and a woman. He quickly agreed and told me to not worry that he liked woman. I told him like that's what I'm talking about let's go.. and then he told me he was going to go off on his daughter that night about what I had just told him. I sat there kind of frozen like you've gotta be kidding me. But quickly said like "yeah yeah that's great, it's what we believe and marriage between man and woman is a beautiful thing. But also God gave us agency so that doesn't necessarily mean they have to choose to believe and agree with what we're saying..... the next time I went over there that girl did not give me a friendly smile but a hateful glare.. I felt like Trae Young against the Knicks the villain type mode.. I would just like to state that I was not being homophobic in anyway but infact trying to explain our doctrine and how in the Church of Jesus Christ we believe that marriage is something sacred and done between man and woman. Please do not cancel me.

8 Baptism invitations???!! :
Yeah that's right. I made the decision to invite everyone who we had introduced the Book of Mormon too to be baptized. Believe it or not 4 people accepted a baptism date and we're praying everything can work out there.

Mini golf?! : yeah so we found a little thing of putt putt in our church and took it home.. the clubs were big enough for a two year old, so I snapped an old broomstick in half and taped them to the plastic club heads as well as lay out a few rags to putt down.. so basically our apartment is super cool now.

Book Of Mormon: I finished the Book of Mormon in Spanish a little bit ago and it was amazing. It is the word of God. Read it, pray about it. The feeling and answer you will receive is indeed undeniable and really can convert anyone who really seeks the truth and asks sincerely.

Love you all and hope you have an amazing week!
-Everyone's favorite, Elder Monson

Preston really needed this week.  After talking to him last week and how down he seemed I  was so happy to hear he had a great week. In one of the pictures below is a group of people.  3 of those people accepted a book of mormon and let them come back and teach them.  The mom/grandma who is in charge of the kids got baptised about 6 years ago her son died in a car crash shortly after and she blamed god.  Well when Preston and Elder Carey found her she said she was ready to come back to church and she wanted them to teach her and her kids, and some of her grandchildren.  Preston was so excited and has loved teaching the kids the most. He also said they were able to get out and find a few new people as well as some older ones that let them teach them.  I'm excited to see how this progresses.  Preston has started reading the Book of Mormon again in spanish and has loved to show me his highlights and favorite verses he's read lately. He said he has had many spiritual impressions and has really felt motivated and loves the gospel.  I  love him so much and am happy this week was a little better for him.  I  know it was through all the love prayers and faith of family and friends.
