Kauai Day #2 Napali Coast

Woke up bright and early to head out to the Napali Coast.  We were all pretty excited for this little adventure and no one complained about getting up early for it.  We drove across the island to the other side to get on our boat there was about 20 of us or so?  They told us before we started that the front seats would get the most wet and be the most active part of the boat.  I  knew my seasickness wouldn't be the best but didn't want to take away from the kids so we got on the boat first so we could get front row seats.  Everyone was a little surprised I did this, but so was I .  The other parts of the boat toward the back were more calm and covered from the sun, but we were all in.  Right off the bat we came across a little pod of Dolphins we were in heaven.  We kept going again and I  was like this isn't to bad very mellow I  can handle this.  About 15 minutes later we come across a big group of dolphins. The captain told us they like to travel in big groups of lieke 100 and there was that many when we saw them.  They were everywhere.   We also saw a sea turtle which the boys were so excited about.  We then push on our way to see the coast.  It did start getting a little choppy the closer to the cliffs na coast we got but I  was still doing good.  We went into some fun tunnels that I  didn't think we would fit in them but our captain was amazing maneuvering his boat and it was so fun to see it all up close.  We kept riding on until we got as far as we could go. We saw a bunch of secluded beaches that the only access is hiking in to get to them.  They looked amazing.  We turned around and headed back toward a little alcove we saw earlier to eat lunch and snorkel.  Everyone got in to snorkel even Landon.  Of course he didn't last to long.  He is not a fan of salt water.  I  saw a sea turtle and so many colorful fish as did the kids.  We had a blast.  On the way back is when I  started getting a little nauseous we were catching some air on a lot of the waves and the wind had picked up.  We were going so fast and I  was trying to breath and not get to sick.  We arrived back a little after 1:00 and we decided to hit up a golf course that was a great deal for our family and it was on this side of hte island.  We all had to rent clubs and they weren't the best.  Chickens were everywhere.  I  should have brought this up earlier.  Chickens are all over the island.  Everywhere stores, airport, houses, by the beach on the beach, golf courses.  So we had to hit around them a few times.  The kids I  think all had fun and we played 9 holes.  Addison and I  were the cart drivers.  A few of the holes went by the ocean so we made sure to get some pictures as a family there.  After golf we were all beat from the early mornings we had been having.  We made our way back over to princeville.  We decided to stop at a snow shack to get a snow cone and Dean realized he had left his wallet in a cart at the golf course.  So while I  bought everyone a snow cone Dean called the course to see if they could find his wallet.  They did find it but they closed in an hour.  We were about an hour aways so we hurried back in the car and took off back to the other side of the island.  I'm so glad they waited for us to close up they handed Dean over his wallet and closed up the course.  We then had a long 2 hour drive ahead of us back to our place.  Which most of the kids slept.  When we got back we were so tired we ate some Costco premade chicken tacos, watched a show and called it a night.
