Being a student at BYU Preston gets 10$ tickets to any of their hockey games. This was a special game because it was against the Edmonton Oilers. Dean favorite team where he served his mission. Preston wanted to get some for dad to go with him. He can get 2 so we had him grab 2 then had his friend Weston grab 2 more for Brecken and Landon. It was a quick trip of up and back on the same day, but we surprised the boys. Dean got off work around 12:00 and I went to the school to check out the boys. They were so confused about why I was checking them out and as we got in the car I asked if they wanted to ditch school and go up to a mammoth game with dad and Preston. They were so excited and kept saying thank you this is the best. They got a lunch on the go and headed up to make it in time for the game. They ended up losing to the oilers, but they loved watching the greatest Connor McDavid score a couple goals. They all got free shirts that are about 10 times to large for the little boys, but they love them and wore them to bed that night.
