We woke up and the boys once again went out to do their quest, while Dean and I got ready for a beach day. We decided to hit up Nike and some other stores to find Brecken some shoes or shorts. This kid is growing so much. We spent a couple hours shopping and then headed out to newport beach. The weather felt so good and we played in the sand and layed around just enjoying the heat. Parking was a beast but Dean dropped us off and went and found parking while the boys and I set up home base. They went straight to the water to build sandcastles. They didn't like how cold the water was so they of course didn't get in only their feet. After we went and the boys played football, we went over on the pier and watched the fisherman bring in their catch. We also saw a seal playing around by the pier so we watched him for awhile. We then headed back to pack up and our neighbors laying by us said they had to save our bag and keys from flying away with the seagulls. Sure enough the paper bag was torn to shreds. Luckily they saved our keys. We headed back to the lodge and the boys played in the arcade trying to earn all the tickets. We had a blast doing some of the games, but your money sure does go fast in those places. We then did some more mini golf and bowling. While the boys did their quest I went and grabbed them some dinner in another restaurant while Dean grabbed canes for us. We had a long day and head home the next day, but had enjoyed are trip togther so much.
