We had a wonderful Christmas Eve. I love being with family. We were so excited to have everyone here for Christmas...(Minus Justin & Katie's Family...We love and missed them). We had a great time eating Yummy Food, and enjoying one an other's company.
After the eating we headed downstairs for our wonderful Christmas Nativity. The kids were all great actor's, and actresses. Shaylee really took on the role of Mary really well. She a natural at holding that baby. ;)
After our Nativity we got into our annual gift stealing game.? I don't know what it's called, but we love it. Dean in this picture is holding a candle warmer, the next turn was Marci who stole it. He then ended up with a princess puzzle, which then got stolen by Kendyll, So I'm still not sure what Dean ended up with. Shaylee opened an angry bird package, which got stolen by Tanner, and then I think she ended up with a notebook, crayons, and markers, Addison ended up with princess chap stick, and Preston ended up with a spider man puzzle, which he ended up giving to Cason to make him happy. I think I ended up with a golf hat clip, and some candy. Which I later put in Dean's stocking for Christmas.
At the end our Brother Matt surprised us with some nice jackets that have his golf course name on them. So of course we had to take a group picture of us all in our awesome jackets.
Of course we ended the night with getting to open a present from Grandma & Grandpa, our wonderful Christmas P.J's She really spoiled all of us this year, with her yummy dinner, and wonderful Nativity, and presents for the games. We sure do love our family. So excited to see what Christmas morning brings!!

Shout Out To The Study KING!!!
I have to post about my husband. He has worked his tail off this last semester with Clinical's, School, and a Full time job. He is amazing, and I Hadley ever hear him complain. He would do his 40 hours of work, then on all his day's off he would put in 12-14 hour days doing clinical, plus all the school work he had to do on top of that. We are so proud of him. He is an amazing husband and Father. In one class he was struggling in he had to pull off a 95% on his final to pass that class. Passing the class was a solid B. He didn't think he could do it since he has struggled with this teachers tests all semester. We sent him up to his parents house to study for a few days. Less distractions, and reasons to not study. He ended up getting a 96% he only missed one on his Final. We are still celebrating. Since we just found this out yesterday!!! YEA!!!! Congratulations DEAN!!! WE LOVE YOU!!!

Candy Making Day!
We had our annual Candy making day on the Eves side. I must say overall it was a success. We only lost one batch of toffee, but that's better then three from last year. It's so fun to get together with my family, and sister's...they truly are my Best Friends, and we have so much fun together. This year was really fun, because my kids wanted to help for a little while (until they lost interest in all the stirring, that goes on in making candy). I even came home and made a batch of caramels, and fudge, to take around to a few people in the ward. Yummy!!!

Christmas Happenings
I can't say we've been extremely busy this time...I just haven't felt like there has been to much to document about in the Monson household. The Sunday after Thanksgiving we put up our Christmas Tree. The kids had so much fun decorating it...I didn't touch it at all. I made Dean reach the high spots for the kids, and that was that. We also had our Elf Hermey show up on December 1st, he brought us a wonderful breakfast of Donuts, and Hot chocolate, plus each kid a new Christmas book to read for the season. We sure have enjoyed our Elf...he is a good example to us, and doesn't do some of the other crazy stuff other Elf's do....out there. The kids love to find him everyday.

Thanksgiving Break!!
We stayed home this year for Thanksgiving. Dean had to work Thanksgiving day (just tell 2) thank goodness. So we enjoyed the beautiful weather, and company without leaving home. Wednesday aunt Stephanie took all the kiddo's to "Wreck it Ralph" She was nice enough to let me come along. It was a cute movie. We also were able to help Grandpa Eves with Christmas lights this week. We also played, played, played. The weather was beautiful so we all pretty much lived outside. What a great relaxing weekend.
