Shaylee's Field Trip to the Farm

Shaylee wanted me to go on her field trip really bad.  I actually wanted to go as well, and I knew Breck would love it.  So Breck and I followed the bus down to Stahli's Farms, and spent the morning with Shaylee on her field trip.  I love spending time with my kids, and Breck loved getting out of the routine of the day.  We first learned about eggs, and chickens, then we moved to the next station which was Pizza.  Yes, I thought it was weird too.  They told us how each thing on the pizza gets made through some sort  of farming process.  The kids loved it.  After we learned about soil, and ate some apples, then went over to the sheep, pigs, cows, chicken roosters, and other animals, to learn about the care of them.  Breck took it upon himself to start the petting zoo early, while the other kids listened he roamed around trying to feed the animals.  One little lamb in particular wanted to get to Breck bad, and while brick was feeding it the lamb crawled under the fence to get out.  This sent Breck a running right back to me, but then he realized the lamb wasn't going to get him, he wanted to go get the lamb.  Shaylee and her friends took Breck around to all the different animal stations.  Our next station we learned about bees, and got to try there honey.  We then headed over to the big cow station were we finished up learning about cows.  We sure love Shaylee and I'm glad I got to go spend some time with her.

Brecken's Foot rub, and Friends

I haven't been feeling 100% these last few weeks, and I think Breck could tell, because out of the blue he said "Mom, I rub your feet lotion?" I don't know how he new to do this, or why he thought of it, but I was so touched.  It only lasted about 3 minutes, but it was the thought that counts.  He is the sweetest boy and hates contention.  He always tries to do his best.

Brecken also has a couple neighbor friends he loves to see.  This particular morning we got his friend Roxy.  He loves being older and being able to boss her around or show her how toys work, and just feeling like a big kid.  They are about 1 year apart, but Breck just loves having another little kids around.

Meeting the newest addition

We got to meet the newest addition to the Eves family.  She was 2 weeks old, and what a cutie!!!  I couldn't get this grin off my face the whole time I held her.  She is so small, and beautiful.  My kids couldn't stand it.  They surrounded her and couldn't get enough.  No one but me was aloud to hold her, because we have had a little cold going around the kids at our house.  They were o upset, and couldn't stop touching her feet.  (that's all they were aloud to touch.)  We sure do love our newest niece Laiklyn.  Cant wait for her to move closer to us.

General Women's Conference

The girls and I were able to go to the General Women's conference that is held twice a year the week before conference.  I love going, and being able to take my girls with me, and feel the spirit together is wonderful.  We met up with my mom and sister Stephanie at the stake center and we all watched together.  I was surprised with how fast it went.  I loved all the talks and clips they showed.  This was one of my most favorite conferences.  The women all gave talks that I needed to hear and helped lift my spirit.  My girls of course loved President Uchtdorf talk, especially the part about the stalking cat.  I left feeling so uplifted.  I hope to be able to implement their talks into my life, and become a better daughter of god, wife, mother, friend, and servant of the lord.
