Christmas Sugar cookies
We had an early out the Monday before school got out, so we made Sugar Cookies. The kids were in heaven. I forgot how much Flour gets everywhere. We had a great time cutting them out. Then later that night we frosted and ate them for Family Home Evening. I think more frosting was being eaten then put on the cookies, but that's the best part right?
Christmas Band Concert
Preston had his Christmas band concert the Thursday before school got out. He has really taken a liking to the Drums, and bells. He was excited to play a few different instruments this concert. He did awesome, and it's fun to see all his different talents.

Live Nativity
One of my most Favorite traditions is going to the Live Nativity. Getting to see Santa, then off to listen to the story of the Birth of our Savior. The Nativity was especially amazing this year. The spirit, company, and Music were beautiful. Brecken has really gotten into the spirit of Christmas. He walked right up to Santa and said "Hi Santa". Then proceeded to set on his lap and tell him what he wanted from Christmas. He kept telling everyone Santa is coming to Town, and Baby Jesus too. I love this age. The other kids didn't want to sit on Santa's lap, but they would stand next to him for a picture.
Family
The first week in December we found out our big Brother Justin and his family would have to come into town for a funeral. We knew we had to try and get a family picture in. We haven't ALL been together in 5 years. That was also our last family pictures as well. A lot of changes, 2 extra kids came along, and 5 years is a big difference as these kids grow up. We got to spend a good day with everyone together and it was great. I sure do love this family of mine.

Fun Holiday Happenings
We've started off December with some fun activities. Our Elf Hermie returned this year on Dec 1st. He brought with him some Christmas donuts and a note reminding the kids to be good, because he is always watching. We also got to watch our cousins for a day and went to story time and made christmas ornaments and reindeer head bands. We also had fun going to the Dickens Festival and watching our niece and Sister preform in Oliver. It was fun to see family there and enjoy the play. We also found a few treasures we had to have. So excited for this special month.
