History Fair

Preston had to do the History Fair this year for his English class.  Grandpa Monson has loved the story of Ernest Shackleton, and as Preston heard the story he knew this was the guy he wanted to do his History report on.  Preston and I…with A LOT of help from Grandpa Monson was able to get all the info and board together.  We went through all the stuff we thought the judges might ask about and really tried to make sure we knew about Shackleton's voyage of the Endurance.  It's an amazing story, and one we will never forget.  Glad I got to spend some one on one time with this cool kid, and work together to finish his project.  He did all the hard work, all I got to do was help decorate the board.

Bubbles and Dad

The weather has been amazing down here.  What's also amazing is that Dean has Friday's off now.  So Breck and I get to enjoy him Friday morning while the other kids are at school  So Awesome.  This last Friday it was a shorts, and tee shirt kind of day; with that Breck feels it's time for Bubble season.  We had to go to the store to restock our bubble supply, and went to work on helping him blow and pop them the rest of the morning.  He has a blast chasing after them, and trying to reach and pop them.  The smile on his face is priceless!!  We are so ready for Spring!!

Valentines, and Presidents weekend!!

We had the extra cousins with us for Valentine so we couldn't forget them with our annual Valentines.  Valentines day landed on a Sunday.  Dad and Mom Eves made everyone a cute Valentines dinner with a Stake Dinner.  We sure do love our family.  We had Soccer tournaments all weekend with Preston's team.  They did awesome, and Preston even made the cut in the local newspaper.  We were excited for him.  In the picture he looks like he is in so much pain.  Well he was.  He had just hurt his leg, and he was fighting a horrible cold/cough.  So, when Preston saw the picture he laughed, and said his face showed exactly how he was feeling.  We played it low key on Monday because a few of us were fighting sickness.  We ended up at a park, and then to st. george to go cleat shopping.  Some tennis, and  just relaxing with the family after a busy week leading up to Presidents day.

Family of 8!!

Ya you heard me right for in February we got the opportunity to watch Lisa's little girls for her.  We received them Saturday6th bright and early at 7 am. We had such beautiful weather the whole week we spent some of it at the park, going to kung fu panda 3, Watching our BRONCO'S win the super bowl, picnic lunches, story times, movie nights, and Soccer games.  They really our the best girls.  My family was also champs for adding two extra in the mix.  They were all more then willing to help feed Laiklyn, or play with Tynlee.  They loved having them sleepover with us.  We left them at my mom's house Sunday 14th, and it was bitter sweet.  We kept forgetting they were gone, and the kids would ask where they were.  We sure do love our cousins.
