Brecken's Preschool graduation

Brecken graduated from Preschool.  He loved his teacher and school this year.  He just turned 4 a week before graduation and most of these kids were going into kindergarten.  When he got his diploma the teacher said that Brecken was so smart and she couldn't believe he had another year left before he could go to preschool.  He sure is a smartie pants.  During the graduation though he would not stop yawning and would not sing any of the songs or do the actions.  He was very nervous up there.  I would have prepped him if I would have known they would be doing a program.  He was glad to get out of the spotlight.  When we got home he sang every song to me, but not up in front of everyone. No way.  Ha Ha we sure love him though.

Family Hike & Swim

The weekend after all our soccer was done we took a hike around southern Utah to find Elephant arch.  It was a complete adventure.  We may have got lost and went a few extra miles trying to find the arch, and when all was said and done we never did and realized we missed the turn about 1/4 mile into the hike.  We were laughing.  The small kids not so much.  We had fun and made memories and that's all that matters.  After the extra long hike we went to Pizza Factory and stuffed our faces full of yummy food.  Then went over to grandma's to swim the day away.  Such a relaxing weekend after months of soccer games taking up our Saturday's

Landon 7 Months

Landon turned 7 months on the 20th.  This last month he learned how to master sitting up.  He rolled over a handful of times again, got really sick, and decided he didn't like any veggies we gave him.  He got really sick right after he turned 6 months.  We all went through some pretty yucky stuff, but of course Landon's turned into a infection with his eyes and ears.  We got him on some antibiotics and it helped a ton, because of his sickness he cuddled just a tiny bit.  It took about 2 weeks for him to start to return to his normal self.  He loves sitting up like he is a big kid and playing with everything in sight.  He also puts everything in his mouth.  He loves going on hikes and being in the baby wearer.  He loves being outside, but we think he has some allergies.  He say's MAMA a lot.  I practiced with him quiet a bit.  I now hear dean in with him saying DADA.   Im sure he doesn't know what mama is but he says  it so that counts for something.  He is babbling quiet a bit and is really loud about it too.  His hair looks like it is coming in little on the red/auburn side.  Only time will tell on that one.  His blue eyes are turning more blue by the day.  We sure love this little caboose to our family and are so glad he joined us.
