Company

My cousin Lea and her family came down for a visit, and we always have so much fun we forget to take to many pictures.  They came down for Soccer and Basketball summer games, and stayed with us a few days.  They went hiking at Kanaraville falls, swimming, BBQ, watching movies, and just enjoying each others company.  We sure love when they come to visit.

Basketball summer games 2017

Preston was able to play in the summer games on a Monday, and Tuesday.  It was some long days for us.  They did great and learned a lot.  Won a couple games, lost a few.  In between games it was such nice weather I laid a blanket on the grass at the park and let the kids play while Landon enjoyed the sunshine and being free from the carseat and being held.

Shaylee's first girls camp

Shaylee was invited to girls camp this year even though her birthday isn't tell August.  She was really excited and I was excited for her.  She had a blast and said its one of her best experiences of her life.  She canoed, did zip lines, a rope course, and some hiking.  She is a special girl and talked our ear off about it.  We sure do love her and the sweet girl she is becoming.

Breckens Summer Swimming Lessons

Brecken is in the middle of swimming lessons as I write this, but Dean and I have been working with him this summer and he really loves to go without his floaties.  Especially off the jumping rock.  He is getting pretty brave.  Sure hope he keeps it up.

Steph's Birthday = Mom/Sister time

For Stephanie's birthday we decided to have a little girls day. (well with Landon).  We went to lunch at Even Stevens. Then went and got pedicures.  I left all the other kids back at home since Dean was out of town, and had them hold down the fort.  It was nice to have a little alone time with my mom and sisters....well with Landon anyways.

Rec Center Fun

Dean had to go out of town the first week in June, So we headed to St. George to play.  We did some shopping, and then hit up the Rec center for some basketball and swimming.  We had some cousins join us; which makes it even more fun.   Shaylee was a great help.  She stayed by my side for most of the time and helped with the 2 little boys.  Everyone had such a blast we stayed 3 and a half hours.  We were wore out when we left and I guess that means the day was a success. We came home had some dinner and watched Sandlot.  Great movie to end a great day.  Sure do love this tribe of mine.

JAG (Junior Association Golfers)

Preston signed up for JAG this summer.  They have tournament each week at different courses.  It gets the kids used to playing in different settings in a tournament setting.  This first week in June was his first tournament and he did pretty good for his first time.  He shot a 50 for the nine holes.  He learned a lot, stayed calm, and had fun.  He is liking this sport the older he gets.  I like that he likes it, because I have a whole family who loves to golf.
