Eves Family Reunion Day 1

We left for our Eves Family Reunion Wednesday around 12:30.  The reunion was at the Bear Lake Cabin.  We made good time and arrived a little before 7.  As soon as we jumped out of the car the kids ran to cousins.  We were the last to show up.  They all took off on the machines to ride them around Grandpas field.  It was such a pretty night and the weather was perfect up in St. Charles.  The sleeping arrangements were all the girl cousins in a tent and boy cousins in another tent.  Grandpa and Grandma and Amy had their own tents as well, and Stephanie couldn't sleep one more night with The Jer...so she ended up inside on the coach.  Grandma Hannah joined us and we all loved having her around.  We all hang out that night enjoying one another's company and couldn't Wait to start our first full day of the Reunion the next morning.  Thursday Morning we decided to do family pictures.  We all had to be ready and out the door by 9:30.  A little hard with 25 people and only 2 full bathrooms between us.  Pictures actually went rather well and for the most part the kids were awesome.  Except the time Everyone was supposed to hold still and smile while the camera automatically took 10 pictures in a row.  Shaylee saw a bug on the ground by her and she was jumping up and screaming in most of the pictures.  We were mad at her because we had to do it over again,  but looking through the pictures you should have seen all our faces and hers.  We had a good laugh.  After pictures we headed over to a nice restaurant called Coopers for a birthday lunch for Marci and Chloee.  When we got done with lunch we headed back to the cabin to get ready for our Golf tournament.  We had 4 teams.   Then the Supporters who drove around watching.  Stephanie put a lot of time into making it amazing and so fun.  We all got goodie bags to eat and drink a long the course.  1st Team out was Matt's: Lisa, Tanner, Addison, Tynlee.  2nd team out: Dean, Devin, Preston, and Chloee. 3rd team out: Stephanie, Justin, Brecken, Emily, and Kendyll.  4th Team out: Jerry, Patty, Jessica, Shaylee, and Jaden.  The supporting staff was Katie, Grandma Hannah, Amy, Marci, me and Landon.  It was a scramble so best ball.  It was so fun.  At the end of the tournament we had an awards ceremony.  It came down to 2 strokes between all the team I do believe.  With a tie, so we had to do a tie breaker.  4th place was Grandpa and Grandmas team.  Stephanie put together winner bags, and had some fun stuff for all the kids and adults.  One being lottery scratch cards.  Ha Ha.  plus money.  3rd place: Matt and Lisa's team.  2nd place: Justin and Stephanie's team.  1st place was Dean and Devin's team.  The supporters also got a prize...a sports bra.  Since we are such good support.  When we got done with the tournament we headed back to the cabin to cook Tin foil dinners and eat smores.  It was a fun ending to a fun day.

Landon 9 Month

Landon 9 months old
Landon had a busy month of new things.  He had 3 teeth break through this last month.  He learned to crawl on his hands and knees.  He can go from laying down to sitting on his own.  He try's to stand along the coaches and pull himself up.  He saw fireworks for the first time, and liked them.  He went on vacation to visit family and did great during the day and was horrible at night.  He has another big top tooth coming...but hasnt broke through yet.  He was 16lbs 3 oz and 28 inch long at his 9 month appointment.  He is 3 % in weight, and 30% in height.  He was really good for his appointment.  Due to learning to crawl and teething he hasn't been the best sleeper at night, but he doesn't cry long and goes right back to bed so I cant complain.  He is such a mover and doesn't hold still even if you are holding him, he tries to climb up you and pull on everything.  He says mama and babbles tons.  He still takes 2 naps and does pretty good with those.  He loves to play with Brecken's toys and Brecken doesn't know how he feels about that. He is loving baby food and is a good eater.  We sure do love him.

Kool Aid Hair, and Kid Camp

This week has been a busy one.  Especially for Shaylee.  Her and Her Friend Lena did a kids camp for the week.  Tuesday: Craft Day, Wednesday: Water Day, Thursday: Cooking day, Friday: Outside day.  They put a lot of time into it, and learned a lot.  It was fun to see them pull through with everything and they did amazing.  It was so much fun I forgot to take any pictures.  I forgot to take any pictures.  Before the camp they also came over and dyed their hair with kool- aid.  Addison did purple.  She wished it would've showed up better.  Shaylee did red, and Lena orange.  It definitely worked well, and hopefully it comes out just as easy when it comes time to get it out.
