Tuacahn live Nativity and Santa

The Saturday night before Christmas (the 22nd).  Our little family headed out to Tuacahn for the live nativity, and to see the lights, and Santa.  It was the last day for the nativity and boy was it packed.  I've never seen it like this before.  We couldn't get tickets to the nativity because they were sold out, but we waited in line to see Santa, and look at lights.  Landon surprised me and went right to Santa and told him he wanted a hoop for Christmas.  We all couldn't believe it.  He is usually really hard around strangers.  Brecken asked for a Rock Kit.  Like with gems and stuff, but of course Santa thought he was saying a rocket.  That's okay though because we reassured Brecken he had wrote a letter and Santa would see it then.  It was so fun hanging out with my little family.  After the nativity we grabbed something to eat along with our hot chocolate and came home to the Jazz game.

Grandparent's Day/ Date with the Hubby!

Grandpa and Grandma Eves had a Grandchild day.  They took all our kids starting at about 9:00, and spend the day playing with them.  They were dropped off around 9:00.  They started the day off with fiesta fun, arcade games, and prize's. then went and got lunch.  They came home and had quiet time, watched a movie, and build forts while the little ones napped.  After nap time they headed off to the park to play and fly drones.  Then off to the dollar tree to let each kid pick out 5 things.  They ended the night with McDonald's and McDonald's play place, and watching the Jazz game.  We sure do have the best parents that's for sure.  Dean and I did some last minutes shopping for PJ's, got our vacuum fixed, ate out with the adult brother and sisters, played around of golf with them as well, and then hit up some dinner a Hallmark, and Jazz game.  It was so fun for the kids, and us parents.  We haven't been alone for that amount of time in awhile.  I sure do love my family and hubby, and loved having a much needed break.  Thanks mom and dad Eves.

2nd Annual Christmas light bus Tour.

We did it again.  We fit 19 of us in a 16 passenger van and drove around looking at Christmas lights.  I always think this is a blast.  Some others think its a little crazy and squished.  Not sure how many will remember all the Christmas lights, but they will for sure remember with company and tradition.  I sure do love this little group here...just missing Justin and Katie's family, and Aunt Amy.  On our way to one of the houses we passed a house that had one strand of lights coming down from Santa.  We finally figured out what was going on.  They put Santa on the roof with a strand of white lights coming off the roof unto the ground and had Santa's hands down below like he was taking a pee.  Some of us thought it was pretty fun, and some were not amused.  lol.. I of course found it ridiculously funn

Chirstmas Candy Making Day!!

I guess I was to busy helping with the candy I forgot to grab a bunch of pictures.  The ones I do have will have to do.  We love candy making at Christmas time.  We did so good this year and all the candy and goodies turned out perfect.  It is also fun to have my girls old enough to help with it too.  We did candy the 2nd Sunday before Christmas so we could snack on it through out the Holiday's.
