Easter Sunday Best

Since Easter landed on General Conference weekend we wore our Easter outfits the week after.  I  couldn't help but take a picture. Everyone is looking so old nad grown up in these.  All the kids were over me taking so many people but I  got a few good ones.

 

Spring soccer comes to an end

Landon had a great season this spring.  He was fast and left foot so the kids had a hard time getting the ball away from him.  He would take it from one end of the field to the other.  In his last game we were winning and the other team was short on players so they put Landon on there team and he scored 2 goals from them.  He had 5 goals total that game with 3 for his team and 2 for the other team.  He loves playing this game and always gives us a thumbs up after he scores.

Brecken's Soccer season was one of his best yet.  He had about 3 goals and learned to play each position well and knew where to be and how to pass.  We struggled the first couple games, but ended up winning our last 3.  Brecken still doesn't know if he loves it but he loves me coaching him.   I  enjoy coaching Brecken he is really coachable and tries to learn.  Great job boys on spring season of soccer. 

 

Landon's First lost tooth.

Poor Landon started to complain about a tooth and everytime I  asked him about it he would say it was all better.  Well about a month after first hearing about it, it got a lot worse.  It was waking him up at night and he cried a lot.  They couldn't get him into the dentist for a couple days so the poor boy lived on tylenol and ibuprofen.  Landon had to have a root canal so we were referred to a pediatric dentist to see how bad it was.  The dentist took one look at the xrays and said he just had to pull it.  It wasn't worth trying to save.  So he has a spacer in between a couple molars in the back to keep the space there so when he grows up his older tooth can grow in. Poor guy didn't know how he felt about being all numb.  He kept rubbing his face and nose and biting his poor tongue.  We kept him on medicine for a couple days and he had to be on amoxicillin for 10 days, but he is doing so much better and trying to stay away from the sweets. 

 

Eves Family Annual Easter Egg Hunt & Easter Egg coloring

Easter was on General Conference weekend.  We had Quin and Dani over for all day and so we colored Eggs and went swimming.  Later we had a Eves family Easter Egg hunt that grandma always puts on.  Every year the kids fight over the Easter Egg coloring thing.  We have 2 and it seems like it still takes to long to get a turn.  They LOVE it. This year grandma hid egg that had the kids names on them.  They only could find their egg and not help anyone else find theirs.  The kids all got some good cash money in their eggs.
