Such a fun group of kids. Such a fun and long day. So after the amazing race I hurried and collected all the decor and food I needed to get down to Litchfield pond. That was where we would be doing pictures and their dinner. I arrived about 5:00 and started decorating with a couple other moms. The kids started showing up for their pictures at around 6:30. Some of us moms went to watch the pictures. After we raced back to the pond to get the dinner all set out and ready to go. We did Charcuterie boards, Soup, Salads, fruit, and tons of desert. The Evening was beautiful, and the setting was fun for the kids. I left around 8:30 to head home, and let the others stay to clean up. Preston and Zoe looked great.

Amazing Race HoCo date.
We woke up on Saturday to a busy schedule. We had to leave by 7:30 to help set up down at Litchfield pond for Homecoming. Exec was over it and they asked parents to come help. We finished around 10:00 with that and Dean and I ran home to gran the boys to take and coach their soccer games. Dean coached Landon's game. Landon scored a few points plus set up all the rest of the shots that went in. That kid is a natural. I went with Brecken to coach our team. Everyone did awesome and we came away with the win. 3-2. Brecken is such a trooper with mom yelling at him on the sidelines. He was my go to guy for everything because he know each position so well. He excelled at mid field. After Soccer we again ran home to decorate for the Homecoming day date. I was in charge of it and we did an amazing race theme. With different colored teams. They had such a big group it was one of the only things we could come up with. We got our balloons and signs up and I had all the snacks and packets ready when they arrived. They all came I gave instructions and then they left. We got out the prizes and I finally was able to sit down for the first time that day, but not for long because I had to be the host when the teams started to return. It was a fun time and I think everyone enjoyed it. After everyone had left I then started packing up my car to go decorate and set up for the dinner the boys wanted to do.

Homecoming Parade and Week!
Homecoming week was the week after Labor day. Preston and exec where in charge of Homecoming week. From painting the businesses windows to assemblies, powder puff, tailgate parties, and decorating/setting up for the dance. It was a busy and long week with everyone helping (parent's included). Friday we got to go watch Preston in the Homecoming parade. We found Brecken and made sure to get some pictures with him before the parade. The kids of 3 falls sure do love this tradition.

Peach Days
We were so excited for Peach days this year, since we didn't get to have it last year because of Covid. I was asked to help with the 3 falls float and walk with the kids in the parade. I also made the 2 banners they had to carry. One for Chinese and one for the school Three Falls. Preston also had to be in the parade on the Exec float for the High School. Dean was so excited when Preston threw him a shirt only to be disappointed it was a 3x. lol. Dean, Landon and the girls cheered for us during the parade and collected all the candy for Brecken. He was bummed he was going to miss all the candy. After the parade we walked around Peach Days for awhile and let Landon buy some cotton Candy. Brecken and the girls had gone the night before with friends and bought stuff then so Landon needed something for him. Brecken got some rocks and a rock necklace (I think). He was really excited about that. After walking around for a bit we headed home and hung out the rest of the day. Monday for Labor day we all went swimming as a family and invited some friends along. It was a pretty laid back weekend. So glad the parade was finally over one less thing on my plate, but it was fun to be with Brecken during the parade.
