California Vaca Day #3 Disneyland

Monday was Disneyland!! We were all so excited. First because the two little boys had never been. Second: because it had been 10 years since the big kids had been.  When we first got in there we went and bought a fast pass for rise of the resistance.  Then jumped on Star Tours.  The kids loved that one, and we actually went on it a couple times that day.  After that we met up with all the neighbors and hung out with them the rest of the day.  We finally got our time for Rise of the Resistance and we all LOVED it.  You had to pay 20$ person for the fast pass but it was well worth it.  After we rode that we did the other rides in Star Wars land since it was new since we had been there.  The only ride in DisneyLand Landon couldn't ride was Indiana Jones.  Other then that we rode everything we could.  We rode splash mountain a few times because the lines weren't bad for it at all.  The boys loved Buzz lightyear.  Which I did too.  I got high score for the day in our family.  It was getting late and we decided to stand in the never ending long line to Rise of the Resistance because we loved it so much.  It ended up being over an hour wait.  After that we went home and got a dinner we were all famished and ended up with like 80 nuggets, hamburger, chicken sandwiches from McDonald's.  lol.  

 

California Vaca Day#2 Balboa Island

Sunday we woke up and got breakfast and then headed out to check out balboa Island, as well as rent bikes and ride along the boardwalk.  We decided to take the ferry over to Balboa Island and it took a total one 1 minute I think.  Once over there we walked around looking at all the cute houses, and shops.  We bought some famous chocolate covered bananas as well as some Ice Cream and smoothies.  We found a few things the kids wanted to pick up.  One was some matching mickey mouse socks for the older boys (Trey, Payton, Preston).  Next we headed back on the ferry to grab a lunch and rent some bikes.  We had a blast on them.  It was Payton and Preston with Landon in one bike. Shaylee, Halle, Addison and Cael in another bike.  Then Danny, Leslie, Dean and I with Brecken and Owen in the front.

It was so fun to race each other and see the beach over that way.  It was a beautiful day and we had a blast.  After the bikes we headed to a shopping center and walked around for another couple hours.  We were all getting hungry but no one could decided on a place to eat so we went to Denny's right by our hotel.  We then came back and watched a movie and hit the sack because we knew we would be up early to head to DisneyLand.
